Competitions

Our students are encouraged to participate in yearly competitions, including the Certificate of Merit (CM), Voce, and the South Western Youth Music Festival (SYMF)

Annual Recital

All students are required to perform show-case for in order to display how much progress they have made over the course of the year.

Departmental Recital

Each studio frequently has its own recital in order to effectively improve their students' musical skills as well as to gain performing experience.

Faculty Recital

Our faculty members are invited to perform once a year from Bellflower Community Concert Association. It is a good opportunity for students to see their instructor's performance in public.

Concerts for the Community

IAMS Youth Ensemble holds free concerts for the community every other month. These concerts are typically for the benefit of elderly but range from nursing homes, convalescent homes to children's hospitals.
